The Mazda 5 is the first vehicle of its kind in North America that blends cargo and people carrying ability with compact size for superior maneuverability.

 

The Mazda 5 has a fresh, well-balanced look that expresses its Zoom-Zoom personality and appeals to users as comfortably familiar but never boring. It’s large dual sliding rear doors open wide for easy access to and from second- and third-row seats, even when space around the vehicle is limited. The dual sliding doors and liftgate are easy to operate for users of all sizes, and seats fold easily for one-handed operation.

There are two types of safety features – active and passive. An active safety feature will help control the vehicle and avoid a crash. Examples of active safety features on the Mazda are Anti Lock Brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD) and the electro-hydraulic steering system – these systems help you control the vehicle

 

In the unfortunate instance that a crash occurs, however, a passive safety feature helps protect the occupants of the vehicle from injury. Passive safety features include chassis design, the crushable box pedal design, airbag systems and crash management

 

The Mazda 5 has :Advanced dual-stage front airbags and side-impact airbags and side curtain air bags combine to provide a comprehensive safety system

 

The Mazda5 GT supports Bluetooth® enabled phones, allowing the driver to make and receive calls via voice or steering wheel controls, thereby reducing distraction

 

The Mazda 5’s extensive seat adjustability and seat configurations allow arrangement of the cabin space for diverse passenger and cargo-carrying needs. Flexibly usable centre space and intelligently designed storage spaces, including karakuri storage box on GT models, provide exceptional convenience.
